The GEALAN-LUMAXX system ensures even up to 25% better access of the light to the room. What affects this result? This is a result of combining the traditional frame with lowered sash which gives an effect of exceptionally slim frames. In the described system, the low combination of frame with the sash reaches the height of 103 mm. Completed by a construction comprising a combination of the monostulp with the sash with a width of merely 106 mm, allows to get the above-described effect.
The former constructions with movable mullions often took even 170 mm or more of the window’s width which had impairing effect on the window’s silhouette and has been reducing the access of the light. The lowered profiles allow to get a slim window effect and at the same time, keep the high comfort of the use and safety.
GEALAN-FUTURA® is a unique combination of profiles with elevated frame. With the use of standard steel with a thickness of 2 mm, the combination of profiles enables construction of passive windows, but that’s not all! in compliance with the most recent ift-Rosenheim WA-15/2 directive, the system allows to make passive windows also in colour!
An unquestionable advantage of the system is its cost effectiveness – it reaches the passive standard without the need to use expensive, additional elements (steel with insulating foam inside).
Perfect Uf heat transfer coefficient equal to 0.89 W/(m2·K) is an effect of meticulously designed construction details and the use of IKD® technology. Furthermore, thanks to the use of STV® technology, it is possible to construct windows with a height up to 2.4 m.
The Gealan systems characterised by large glazing are made with the use of STV® technology – the dry glazing. Permanent bonding of the glazing package and sash with the use of a special adhesive tape, along with the use of traditional glazing blocks, enhance the system’s stability. Thanks to this propriety, it is possible to produce windows of standard sizes without any steel reinforcement. The STV® technology with the use of standard steel reinforcement allows to produce windows of greater sizes that will open each surface to the world
